Jordaan June 2017

About ten years ago in South Africa, I had a dream that was very intense and was so disturbing the moment I woke up that I could not sleep and eat for almost three days. After praying for three days, the Lord gave me revelation for this dream.

Job 33:15 ‘At night when people are asleep, God speaks in dreams and visions. v16 He makes them listen to what he says, and they are frightened at his warnings. v17 God speaks to make them stop their sinning and to save them from becoming proud.’

In my dream, I could see our local church people sitting on a stage and wait for the coming of the Lord. On my right hand sits a beautiful woman with her hand on my leg. Everything inside me knows it was unacceptable because I am married and love my wife. I tried to take her hand of my leg, but could not. I just want to leave her hand a little longer, because it was so nice. In my dream, God spoke to me and told me, “If I come back for my church, and her hand is still on your leg, you will stay behind.” After that, I woke up. I started seeking the Lord and asked Him to show me who this woman was, and to remove her from me, and to destroy this which I felt was an idol. On the third day, the Lord gave me Psalm 119:36 “Turn my heart towards your statues and not towards selfish gain.” (NIV)

Eze. 33:31 “So my people crowd in to hear what you have to say, but they don’t do what you tell them to do. Loving words are on their lips, but they continue their greedy ways”. (GNB) 1 Tim 6:10 “For the love of money is a source of all kinds of evil. Some have been so eager to have it that they have wandered away from the faith and have broken their hearts with many sorrows.

After reading these Scriptures, I fell face down and repented.  I know that I was in church every Sunday, I preached, I prophesied, I was a home cell leader and worship leader.  From the outside, it looked like I was on fire for the Lord, and I DID love the Lord, but in the secret place God showed me my heart – my idol was the love of money! The Lord told me that I was praying wrong for the last three days. He could not take the money away from me because I would lose my house.  He told me that His heart’s desire was to give me more money for tithes and offering, missions trips, providing for my family etc.  The Lord told me to pray the way David prayed in Psalm 119:36.  He told me that I could not change my own heart, and I needed to ask the Him to change my heart.  That is why I could not take the woman’s hand off my leg in the dream. The good news is that God answers prayers and He changes hearts. My business started growing supernaturally and the 2008 worldwide recession did not affect me at all. Words cannot describe how God sent growth to my business. Ps 37:18-19. “The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine, they have abundance”. (ESV) The Lord put on my heart to tell business people that to seek God and pray Ps 119:36, and see what God is going to do in their lives, to ask God to show them their hearts and to reveal if hearts are turned on Jesus. My heart breaks when I see a business going under. The Lord showed me that in these last days that so many people use God’s Word to make money. 2 Cor. 2:17a “Unlike so many we do not peddle the word of God for profit.” We can go to church every Sunday, preach, prophesy, lead worship, heal the sick, be successful in our business, but if we have any idols in our life’s, we going to miss Heaven. Rom. 11:29 “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable”.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick, who can understand it.” (Jer. 17:9) “The Lord searches the heart.” (Jer.17:10)

The good news is God loves us and wants all to be saved, but this is the word of God and it will never change. We need to change and come in line with the truth.

Rev 21:7 “The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.” Rev 21:8 “But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

10On June 29, 2013 I took a team of 8 middle aged adults (including myself) to San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  We were off on a short-term mission trip in what has been labeled as the most violent city on the earth for the last two years.  Drug trafficking and turf wars have led to several early deaths in this city.  Pastor Wilmer Godoy from Honduras had invited us to come and minister in this city, saying that the people were hungry for God.  I’ll be honest, I don’t remember being fearful during our time in Honduras.  I think the hunger displayed by the people of this country overwhelmed any concern I had for safety.  Not that we weren’t cautious – we were.

I had spent the months ahead of this trip praying for our team’s safety and for God to help us.  I had asked all the questions I could think of prior to going, but you just don’t know what will happen until you get there.  I had never been to Honduras, although I’ve been to a few different Central American countries on short-term mission trips.  My team consisted of mature, well-grounded christians but not very experienced in mission trips.

Costa Rica Outreach June 2014

This is a testimony of some of the encounters that my family and the mission team had in Costa Rica during the summer of 2014.  I am still gathering all of the teams testimonies to put into one document but for now these testimonies reflect many of the encounters that I remember.   Altogether we saw more than 170 people healed  during these two weeks and gave several hundred prophetic words.  We ministered at seven churches, a men’s prison, a small orphanage, and everywhere we went. The Lord was with us confirming his word with signs following.  We met wonderful new friends named Andres and Jacqueline as well as ministered with a dear friend named Emerson.

“My house shall be called the house of prayer” (Mat.21:13)

Dear friends

We celebrated our youngest daughter Naomi and Charlotte’s birthdays in the month of May. Thank you for all the birthday wishes, it was awesome.

Charlotte and I also graduate with a Master’s degree of Theology which was one of the highlights of our lives. We are very thankful for this opportunity.

We live in the most exciting times. Since our previous letter we have Skype missionaries in Sri Lanka, Belize (Central America), Botswana, Togo (Africa), Indonesia, India and Pakistan.

While doing the Skype call with the missionary in Indonesia, I believe the Lord showed me that there will be a great awakening coming from that part of the world, in fact, it has already started.

One of our MorningStar/CM Missions missionaries travels from city to city. From their travels, we hear reports that churches are coming together. These are different denominations and streams that form prayer meetings for their nation. Below is a letter we received:

“The national prayer network in Indonesia is promoting a city prayer tower in every city in Indonesia; currently the big cities have this besides churches also spare the upper room for prayer room/prayer tower. It is interesting because Indonesia is the largest Muslim population in the world but it is not an Islamic nation.” He also sends this clip on the left sidebar.

After a Skype call to a missionary in Belize, he gave the following feedback:

“So much thanks to you all for timely prophetic words. Seeing prayer as the key to lasting ministry, I started the first house of prayer in Belize and later extended that into the Belize Prayer Network. BPN is a network of prayer groups and pastors’ groups around the nation. We share our praise reports and prayer targets, adding the power of agreement, and also share revelations about the nation, so we can all get a bigger picture of what God is doing in Belize.”

There is a wave coming. The Lord reminded me of a dream I had of a tsunami wave that is about to break.

In the dream, I was standing on a very big ship on the font deck with my hands on the railings. The ship was in a bay and the water was very calm. There were many more ships in the bay as I looked to the left, bigger and smaller ships. To the right I could see land and a mountain.

The second time I looked to the left I saw this enormous big wave coming from the ocean, about hundred times bigger than the ship. It was about to break over the ships. The first thing I did was to get ready to jump into the sea, and I immediately asked the Lord, “Shall I jump”, to which His reply was: “No, the wave is Me, stay on the ship”.

In the dream, the Lord took me high up in the sky and I could see the whole scene from God’s sight. The ship was as big as a matchbox and in comparison; the wave was a three-story building. It was enormous.

There is not a chance that anything or anyone is going to survive that wave, except if our feet or foundation standing on the Rock. (Mat. 7:24-27) I believe that wave is going to sweep over America and if any house has been built on the sand, “it will fall with a great crash”. (Mat.7:27 NIV)

A couple of years ago, John Malundi, a pastor from Uganda visited us in Cape Town, South Africa and gave the testimony of how the church in Uganda came together and pray, and a revival swept over the nation. Uganda is the only nation in Africa where HIV Aids was decreasing. One pastor planted a church the one Sunday with eighteen people, and the next Sunday six thousand people arrived for church. The government declared that witch doctors are illegal. He said that this happened only because the church of Uganda came together and prayed.

Before the revival in Uganda, Idi Amien was the president of the country. It was the eighties and the church was under persecution. This nation was less than five percent Muslims, Amien declared Uganda a Muslim state, and they killed the Christians.

John Malundi warned, “Church, don’t wait until you have an ‘Idi Amien’ as president, before you start praying. Don’t think it can’t happen to your nation, it is spiritual. Government cannot stop evil, only the church can. Complaining and grumbling against the government helps no one, prayer for government is the answer.”

On May 7, we did prophetic ministry to two pastors couples in India via Skype, and what an awesome time. God is faithful! On my way to Morningstar church the Holy Spirit gave me Phil. 1:6 “being confident of this, that He who began the good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”. The Lord reminded me that the work He began in this nation when it was established; He is going to finish it. There is a massive awakening coming to America.

Rom 8:35-39. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

v.36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

v.37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

v.38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

v.39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Blessings!

This was something that I wrote a few years back that came my way via a recent comment on it. I reread this today and it moved me again. I am sure that pretty much everyone who gets this has never realized the historical background behind this and would be quite stunned while reading this. The facts are true. The beauty and power of this miracle only becomes more profound as well as the heart of God.

This will be something that will be rewritten but for now, enjoy it and let God speak to your heart about what He can and will do for you!!!

You can read it here.

Blessings…

God is so wonderful and I want to get a testimony or two in to let this day end with His doings.  At the (time of this writing) I am really battling a flu like sickness and had to cancel my flight tomorrow to Pennsylvania and reschedule it for Thursday.  I know it is His will for me to be there to serve the Outpouring, one of the places in the USA where there is a genuine outpouring of God.  I need to be there.  Would you pray?  At your church prayer meeting, in your home, as a ministry, knowing that in doing so there will be a great response of God with resulting impact for HIs name.  Thanks for doing so and for sowing into DOAN at this very moment so we can move forward.

Some of you heard about the TV shows that will reach 44 nations, a fledgling network and I can do a couple of more on Wednesday as I gain strength.  The meetings in the homes and yesterday at Cornerstone were phenomenal but the times spent alone with the leaders of Solutions Ministries, the leaders of the home churches and the pastor of Cornerstone were extremely blessed.  I want to just share a couple of testimonies.

In one home group I heard this remarkable story.  Over 20 months ago I ministered at this very home group and during the meeting there was a man probably around 60 who you noticed immediately.  He came in and lay on the floor and proceeded to put his legs up on a couch.  He was in excruciating pain and had a back injury for years and years. He was a minister for 35 years and told us quite frankly that he was a skeptic about healing and things like that.  I figured we might as well go for it as the presence of God was in the room.  So I invited others to join me and God touched him and he fell right on his rear end with a thud on the floor.  Not the wisest thing to do with a back injury.  He told the story the other night.  At that time he felt that God had indeed touched him and the soreness began to leave then and througout the week.  A week later he was driving his pickup truck and felt something like a hand on his lower back and heat coming into his back. This continued every day for one week.  Then the next week he began to feel things moving around in his back as if they were coming into place.  As strength poured into that area the first week, his back now seemed to come into alignment.  He wanted to check it out and went to his chiropractor who said that everything in his back was completely normal and the brother testified that he was completely healed and has not had any discomfort in his back since!!!

In a service at Cornerstone, I welcomed His presence as always and He began to be experienced around the room.  I noticed that a man in the back was obviously feeling Him and just asked him to come forward to tell us what was happening.  As he did so, God began to touch him even more.  He was unable to speak but wept softly and just stood there and I continued the meeting.  Near the end of the meeting he was back in his seat and next to him was a young girl.  He was still weeping softly and then the girl probably around 20 began to be visibly touched by God and I had others pray for her.  That evening they were both back in the service and I walked back to where they were and asked what had happened.  The young woman began to weep unable to talk.  He took the mike and said that she was his daughter and they had been estranged for over a year and that morning, God had restored their relationship!!  It was a moving time and many such things took place in both services as I had the people love each other releasing what they carried and seeing His kingdom come.  Many visitors were stunned by the Lord and it was  great time.

Sometimes you do not realize that when you know your identity as His heart, hands and feet for others, you can truly touch in mighty ways.  In the morning service I noticed a Spanish woman sitting next to one of her children.  She looked forlorn and I felt His compassion.  I heard the Lord tell me to give her and her daughter everything in my wallet, and I had just received more cash before the service and obviously have needs of the ministry and our own.  But that is what I heard,”everything in my wallet”/  So without fanfare I approached them and told them what God said and did just that.  After awhile I had them come up to be prayed for by the body.  When I had lunch with the pastor after the service I told him of the incident because I wanted to know who she was.  He did not know I did that.  He proceeded to tell me that she was a widow, had 4 children and was planning to leave and go back to North Carolina as she had no job.  She made a decision to seek the Lord and He told her to stay.  He said she was a goldly woman who attended every service.  Wow!  That evening, I had her come up and pray for people for healing and God healed at least 3 woman with stomach problems and the pain left.

So, praise God for His love!!! This is a game changer year, the year He will give those things that were inaccessible to you in the past, the best of times for those who seek His kingdom first and shine in the darkness in small and great ways!!!  Thank you for praying and sowing financially into a ministry where these types of things take place, amen!!
                                                                                                         In His Embrace,
Brother Earl
