Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1Thessalonians 5: 16-18
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
Lord, teach us to pray…Luke 11:1
I moved from South Georgia in 2012 to follow my hearts passion to become an Intercessory Missionary partnering in missions and the arts. I currently live in Fort Mill, SC where I volunteer with MorningStar/CM Missions, Advancing the Arts, Healing, and Prophetic Teams.
There is nothing I’d rather do than sit at the feet of my Jesus, my best friend, and become lost in loving Him. Second comes the passion and desire to love His people by interceding for them as He leads me. I also demonstrate His mighty love visually through the arts both in painting and teaching.
What we do: calling and mission
My mission as an intercessor is to be a watchman for the church, city, nation, Israel, and nations. And as an artist my purpose is to create to show the light and fire of the glory of Father through my worship in the arts. My heart exposing Jesus’ heart using media to express the joy we find in each other. Viewers who watch me create will be able to both feel and see visually the movements of the hearts united between the Godhead and myself. This expression will grow more and more intimate as love grows and I grow both personally and as an artist. (Art Website: HeartsUnitedStudio.com)
Vision: current ministry
My vision is to partner with Holy Spirit to bring fire and glory of Father to nations. I am a lover of Father’s heart and I desire to be touch for the Godhead through prayers, proclamations, decrees and declarations.
I have been a MorningStar Partner since 2010, an Intercessory Missionary with MorningStar/CM Missions to the USA since 2013, and a MFM Member since 2014. I oversee the MorningStar Missions Intercessory Team for MorningStar/CM Missions under missions director Jorge Parrott. We intercede for and stay in contact via email with MorningStar/CM Missions’ over 500 missionaries in 57 nations. I am a member of the Advancing the Arts Team and oversee the art for the monthly Moravian Lampstand 24hr Burn hosted by MorningStar’s Prayer and Intercession Pastor Robert Rummage. I also serve on both the Healing and Prophetic Teams.
MorningStar is a diverse and expanding international ministry founded by Rick and Julie Joyner in 1985. It is located on the grounds of the former Heritage USA, or PTL.
The Joyner’s purchased the former PTL Grand Hotel and Conference Center in 2004 where the ministry is currently based. MorningStar Ministries began with the biblical mandate of Matthew 24: 45-46. The ministry motto is: “We will not use people to build our ministry, but we use our ministry to build people.” For more information about MorningStar visit their website at www.morningstarministries.org.
I was introduced to MorningStar around 1998 when my home group leaders at my church played the Heart of David Worship conference on VHS during several of our home group meetings. This introduction was a life changing experience for me as I found myself lying on the floor crying out to our Father to forgive me for becoming lukewarm and critical.
The Lord taught me what it meant to be humble after that experience and the importance of being called to be an intercessor. We attended two other worship conferences in Jacksonville, FL during the next two years and I continued to follow the ministry over the years. In 2006 my church youth group was doing a mission trip to Fort Mill, SC and I was asked to come with them as their intercessor. I eagerly accepted the assignment and once again my life was dramatically changed. I was blessed with the opportunity to spend many hours a day for 9 days worshiping and soaking in Father’s presence inside the Zadok House of Prayer (ZHOP), which at the time was next door to MorningStar.
I fell in love with this place because I felt like I had finally found the place where I fit; I had found my tribe and felt at home. I have returned every chance that I have gotten every since. With the help of a close friend I began to pray about moving to Fort Mill after that trip and we concluded that I was to wait five years. In 2008 Father reminded me of this desire and made it fresh again. I began making preparations and praying for God’s timing. I received many, many prophetic words, visions, and confirmations that I was to make this move. I came to MorningStar and stayed for 5 weeks during the summer of 2010. That trip left me with no doubt that I was to come, it was just a matter of timing. I was finally able to make the move in September of 2012.
While seeking Father about coming to MorningStar I asked Him what my call was. He said I was to come here as an intercessory missionary. I sense that MorningStar is to be the home base for the ministry He has called me to do with missions and the arts. I was commissioned and sent out as an apostolic intercessory missionary by my home church. Most days since my move I feel as though I’m on an extended vacation.
Each day I am discovering that is what it is like to walk out my destiny lead by my beloved Jesus. The Lord has already opened so many doors and downloaded a lifetime of knowledge and anointing. His love is greater than I ever imagined and life just keeps getting better and better because I am learning more and more what it means to trust Him and walk by faith. I have also discovered another great truth…that I can be full of joy all the time and it is allowed, even expected by our beautiful Jesus. PRAISE GOD!!! He is faithful and I am learning to love!
